Report on the fourth Epigraphy.info Workshop Hamburg, February 19th - 21st February 2020
EpiDoc & technical training:
The Hamburg workshop will be preceded by 3 ½ days of
training, which aims at giving an orientation on EpiDoc, XML, DTS etc.
The training will
take place from
February, 17th, to the morning of February, 19th 2020. In the afternoon of the same day the
epigraphy.info workshop will start.

The technical training and the epigraphy.info workshop will take place at the University of Hamburg: Edmund-Siemers-Allee 1, ESA West, D-20146 Hamburg.

By train: There is one train service available at the airport. The S1 connects the airport among other stops with the Hamburg central station (timetable PDF).
There are several other transport options depending on your destination, including taxi and bus.

If you will be using public transport frequently, we suggest the purchase of a Hamburg Card. It can be booked for 1 to 5 days (10,50-42,50 € for Single tickets) and offers you special discounts for museums, restaurants, coffeeshops and much more.
